This beautiful traditional Maltese house is located in the UNESCO heritage site of Valletta. It was built in the 17th century and was inhabited by relatives of the Grand Master of the Knights of St. John. This wedding venue can cater for a maximum of hundred seated guests on long tables or else eighty seated guests on round tables. It is also ideal for smaller weddings. Your Malta wedding planner suggests that you should be at least fourteen guests to book this wedding venue. The indoor decoration of the rooms in La Casa is simple yet elegant. Each room boosts high ceilings which are supported by wooden beams and large apertures which makes the venue rich in natural light. The outdoor area of this wedding venue consists of a cosy and charming internal courtyard which is ideal for wedding photos or to carry out the civil wedding ceremony. Also if the bride and groom to be, opt for a church wedding, they can do so in one of the numerous churches and small chapels spread throughout Valletta which are all within a short walking distance from the venue.
Catering for La Casa: Our chosen caterer for this venue is a relatively new wedding caterer that have managed to establish himself in a short period of time. The eagerness to please together with fresh and innovative menus are synonymous with the caterer. The wedding food created under the supervision of a local master chef is a delight to the palate while the service is exceptional. Menus can be fully customised and the client is encouraged to bring his own culinary ideas which will be incorporated in the wedding food.
Wedding decorations at La Casa: This wedding venue has a traditional feel to it and thus tends to be better suited for a traditional and contemporary decorations. Long flower vases together with white linen tend to be the selected decoration option by many of our guests.
Feedback by Lara from Ireland who got married at La Casa in April 2013
'This wedding venue is situated in the heart of the buzzing capital city of Malta, yet once you step inside it is very quiet and relaxing. We had our wedding in the beautiful church of St. Francis of Assisi which is situated within walking distance of the venue. Then we headed to the wedding venue where we had some drinks and finger food in courtyard. Finally we enjoyed a beautiful meal while being entertained by a talented Maltese folklore duo. A special thanks to our wedding planner Florina who managed to calm me down in the days preceding the wedding and who took care of every detail to make my special day a memorable one'
