The Palazzo Magnifico is an amazing 18th century building situated in the heart of a typical Maltese village. Throughout the times it housed a number of royalties including leaders of the Knights of St. John and more recently the Marquis Scicluna. Throughout the times the palazzo has been enriched and rendered to its current state of splendour and luxury.
Weddings at the Palazzo Magifico offer the perfect backdrop for any fairytale wedding. The best places to carry out weddings at the Palazzo are the Grand Ballroom and the spectacular garden. The Grand Ballroom is richly decorated with gilded 24 carot gold and its rich decoration is unique to the Maltese islands. The focal point of the Grand Ballroom is the ceiling. It portrays the important aspects of everyday life during those days. These includ,e among other things symbols of art, religion and warcraft. Also to enhance the grandness of the Ball Room massive mirrors are placed in every corner.
The garden is an extension of the richness that is found inside the palazzo and blooms with different flowers throughout the year. It is meticulously kept and despite its large dimensions with the right decorations and arrangement it can be used for both large and small and intimate weddings.
Catering at Palazzo Magnifico: We have teamed up with an amazing caterer for this wedding venue which will offer you an amazing gourmet food selection for your big day. No matter how big or how small is your wedding the attention to detail and dedication shown in preparing your food is remarkable.
Feedback from Julie from UK who got married at the Palazzo Magnifico in May 2012
‘ The place is simply superb. We arranged a wedding venues visiting trip with Pearl Wedding Planners, however as soon as we stepped inside the Palazzo Magnifico I knew that this was the place for us to get married. On the day of the wedding, thanks to our wedding planners, everything went to perfection. We had our civil wedding ceremony in the Grand Hall, afterwards we moved to a secluded area in the garden where we had a champagne reception. Finally we had a four course meal with all our guests. A definite pleasurable wedding both for us and to all our guests. Everyone loved the place and the surroundings. A warm-hearted thanks to our wedding planner for creating our dream wedding in Malta.’
