Jodie and Mike are a lovely couple for which we had the pleasure to be their wedding planners in Malta in July 2013. The bride to be contacted us around one year before the wedding. She had a pretty good idea of what she wanted since she had been coming to Malta for holidays since she was a kid. After discussing with her some of the Sea View Wedding venues in Malta she fall in love with Villa Giuliani. The lovely staircase leading to the terraces together with the amazing sea views that the terrace commands are the two features that made the bride and groom pick this wedding venue.
On the day of the wedding the weather was just perfect with not even a cloud is sight. The groom reached the venue around ten minutes before the bride to find the civil wedding ceremony set up ready and decorated as requested. The wedding photographer took the opportunity to take some shots of the groom and the groom’s party prior to the arrival of the bride. Once the bride arrived together with her father in the luxurious BMW, her favourite song started playing on the sound system. The excitement of the bride soon faded away when she stopped her husband to be and her adorable two kids waiting near her near the wedding registrar. After saying their ‘I Do’s’ the couple enjoyed some time mingling with the guests, drinking some champagne and eating some of the delicious canapés which were being served. The mood during the cocktail hour was very relaxed with guests enjoying the sunset and the spectacular sea views.
After cutting the cake and enjoying some more champagne, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to a smaller terrace to find a tastefully decorated dining table. The toasts, especially from the father of the bride, was very emotional and brought a tear to most of guests. Finally, after a mouth-watering three-course meal, the couple ended the night with a private Disco party that we set up for them and their guests in the different section of the villa.
