Nicki and Daniel, a loving couple from North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, contacted us in December 2013. They wanted a destination wedding in Malta, but had no clue where to start. They also needed help with the legal aspects of a wedding, paper work, venue decoration , photography and the services of hair and makeup artist.
Communication was done via several phone calls, smses and e-mails. The bride likes and dislikes were noted and we started suggesting what was most suited for her tastes. The bride wanted a sea view wedding followed by a cocktail hour All of this needed to take place with the backdrop of the sunset and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The wedding theme was vintage and the colour them was Cadbury Purple, gold and ivory.
Nicki and Daniel had their civil wedding ceremony at the water’s edge in a beautiful resort set in the northern part of Malta. The timing was planned just perfect with the sunset in the background while the couple was saying their vows. After the cocktail hours the couple and guests enjoyed some prosecco while posing for some photos. Dinner took place in a lovely terrace dressed in white tulle and commanding amazing sea views. It was a small intimate wedding of 14 guests. They had one big rectangular table which was decorated with beautiful floral purple and ivory centrepieces and butterfly name place cards. They also had little ivory lanterns and glowing purple beads which provided an added touch of luxury to the setup.
The couple opted to have an open bar and beautiful background music. Every single guest was really happy for Nicki and Daniel. The bride and groom were also very happy during the wedding and it was immediately noticeable that this couple had a very good mutual understand and communication between them. In fact this even reflects in the spontaneous poses that the couple provided to the photographer.
For us it was a pleasure to help planning a destination wedding in Malta for such bubby and loving couple. It was our joy to see that everything went to perfection and to have positive feedback not only from the bride and groom but also from all the guests.
‘Pearl Weddings, you did us proud. You gave us what we wanted and we thank you for that. We and our guests had a great time and recommend the services that you provided to us’.’
