Sinead and Peter first contacted us in September 2013. Sinead always wanted a beach wedding in Malta and her mind was set on it. Sinead wanted a civil wedding ceremony by the waterside and a sit down wedding reception afterwards. After discussing different beach wedding venues with the couple, Sinead and Peter opted to go for a civil wedding on a sandy beach.
The bride and groom to be, along with the bride’s parents (who were the wedding witnesses) came to meet us in person on February 2014. During this meeting, we accompanied them to their chosen venue. The expression of happiness on Sinead’s face was priceless. They were very satisfied with the venue and they were really pleased that we had recommended.
As the wedding day approached, the couple and the Pearl Wedding Planners were in constant contact via e-mail and phone calls to make sure that no detail was left out. The bride and groom trusted us fully and left the wedding planning totally in our hands. The Pearl Wedding Planners and the couple met again in Malta during the pre-wedding meeting. During such meeting the final detail were finalized and timings confirmed.
On the day of the wedding, Sinead’s favourite colour pink was used as a colour theme. She had a two tier pink wedding cake, pink bridal bouquet, pink coloured name place cards and pink coloured wedding favours. The wedding ceremony was held outside on the sandy beach under a white ceremonial tent. The aisle had red carpet with chairs decorated with white chair covers and pink bows on either sides. After the ceremony, the couple did the cake cutting by the seaside with the backdrop of the sunset.
All the guests were amazed by the beach venue and the wedding setup. After the cake cutting the couple moved to the sit down area and dinner was served. Dinner was followed by speeches and then the after party with DJ started. The first dance chosen by the couple was Wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton while the second song which the bride danced with her father was Sh-Boom by The Chords. The bride and groom and all her guests continued dancing till the early hours of the mornings
