Sylvia and Brad decided to travel half way round the globe – all the way from Canada – to have a Mediterranean wedding in Malta. They had never been to Malta before their wedding but chose to get married here mainly because of the climate and the pictures that they had seen of the island over the internet.
Sylvia and Brad contacted us around six months before the wedding date. They were unsure of the exact number of guests but knew that it will be anything between fifteen and twenty-five. They wanted good sea views for their wedding, good food and a band that specialises in 80’s music during the wedding dinner. After the initial consultation over the phone we shortlisted a number of wedding venues for them. Shortly after sending then photos of the wedding venues to the couple, Sylvia contacted us with her selection. She had fallen in love with a villa which commands great sea views . She also loved the contemporary decor of the internal parts of the villa. Once the bride and groom to be decided on the wedding venue, we moved to the second phase of the planning phase. We proceeded with booking all the other suppliers that were needed for the wedding. By consulting the couple at every stage, we booked the flowers, music, photographer as well as the reception food and dinner menu.
On the day of the wedding, everything went as planned. All the guests managed to reach Malta from Canada and America in time and were sitting down in the lovely villa terrace awaiting the couple to make the grand entrance. The civil wedding ceremony was very emotional both for the bride and groom as well as for the guests. The toast was as emotional as the civil wedding ceremony. It was such a great honour for us to share these special memories with this tightly knit group of family and friends. Finally, after some delicious snacks and champagne, the couple sat down for a gourmet dinner.
‘We really appreciate the effort that was put in our wedding by our wedding planner Florina. She planned every little aspect of our wedding day in meticulous detail. All the suppliers that she hired for us were very professional and friendly. We particularly loved the 80’s band. They had a great repertoire of songs and could cater for most of our requests. For all the couples who are planning a wedding in Malta, I am confident that Florina will be an asset to your wedding.’
